Dotdotdot Theatre Company via Pixel artworks wanted to create an immersive bar experience based on the Red Weed from classic novel by H.G. Wells, The War of the Worlds.
The brief was to elevate the traditional scenography of the room using digital scenography as a layer of storytelling.
I transformed the bar surface with projection mapped motion sequences based on three themes from the story. Country side, blood on the streets and Red Weed. These three states transitioned seamlessly from one to the other every 5 minutes, giving visitors an ever shifting environment and pulling them deeper into the story world.
